New Creative Sets

Overview

  • All creative sets must have one 9x16 portrait video, one HTML End Card, and a landing URL
  • Please disregard the Text Assets section of the UI as this is deprecated
  • After setting up the first creative set, consider using the Clone tool to efficiently add additional ads



Video Assets

  • Videos must be 9x16 portrait; We do NOT accept videos in Landscape orientation (16x9)
  • We start each campaign with at least 5 videos
  • Files should be uploaded at the highest possible quality in .mov or .mp4 
  • Add legible subtitles on all video ads given the majority of traffic is sound off
  • Take advantage of 30-60 second un-skippable ad opportunities with longer ads; 60 seconds is the maximum length

HTML End Cards

  • HTML End Cards appear after each ad and are skippable after 3-10 seconds
  • We typically see a high correlation between strong ROAS and high End Card CTR%, so we highly recommend testing several as you scale
  •  HTML End Card Generator 
  • Simple tool that allows you to create EC concepts easily. We suggest you use your top statics as the Background Image and add a CTA
  • Exported HTMLs can be tested with the  Playable Preview tool  and then uploaded into Creative Sets

Landing URLs

If you plan on using many different landing URLs (e.g. for different products) in your campaigns, the landing URL for the campaign should be set at the Creative Set level, with the Campaign level landing URL used for a fallback
You can generally choose the landing URLs that have performed best on other channels
 Use the LP Validation tool  to append the desired UTMs and also to check the  land event . AppLovin automatically appends the land parameters to outgoing URLs in ads; please do not integrate these into the pixel directly
