Weapon and Weapons Accessories

Weapons and weapon accessories, including guns, gun accessories or ammunition, and explosives.

Additional Guidelines: 
Ads cannot include:
  • Real-life Weapons, Weapon Accessories, Explosives, or Associated Articles, Attachments, or Enhancements: Examples include guns, knives, grenades, bombs, brass knuckles, tasers, batons, pepper spray, ammunition or ammunition clips, silencers, suppressors, bump stocks, optics and flashlights for weapons (e.g., telescopic side, target magnification, etc.), or similar devices, components, or accessories.
  • Weapon- or Explosive-Related Violence and Illegal Activities: Content that contains instructions on the use, assembly, enhancement, or acquisition of weapons or explosives; depicts injury to people or property from weapons or explosives; or encourages unlawful acts involving weapons or explosives, including the acquisition, distribution, or smuggling of those materials.
  • Functional devices that appear to discharge a projectile at high velocity, including airsoft guns, paintball guns, and bb guns, or that have been designed to look like a weapon regardless of their function.
  • Content that promotes the sale or use of real-life weapons, ammunition, or explosives, even if the product may not be sold directly in connection with real-life weapons, ammunition, or explosives.  Examples include holsters, carrying cases or storage boxes for weapons, tactical gear to store or conceal weapons, or similar devices, components, or accessories.
Ads can include:
  • Cartoon Weapons, Ammunition, or Explosives: Depictions of weapons and ammunition in a cartoon or animated context, which do not appear to be real weapons, ammunition, or explosives and have appropriate context reflecting their non-real nature.
