Policy Violations & Account Enforcement

To maintain a safe and compliant advertising environment, we actively monitor for violations of our  advertiser policies . Accounts that repeatedly violate these policies may be subject to enforcement action, including temporary suspension.

3-Strikes Enforcement Policy

If an advertiser accumulates three violations, their account may be suspended from serving ads. Strikes may be issued either for uploading non-compliant content or for not taking timely action after a violation has been flagged.

Actions That Trigger a Strike

An initial strike is typically issued when a creative violates our advertising policies.
For examples:
  • Profanity, sexually explicit or other restricted content
  • Missing required disclaimers

Ongoing Risk of Enforcement

A strike may be issued again if:
  • You fail to pause non-compliant ads after being notified, regardless of whether the ad is actively serving impressions
  • You miss the deadline to take down or revise flagged creatives

How to Stay Compliant

  • Review our advertiser policies to ensure compliance
  • Pause any ad flagged for violations as soon as you're notified
  • Do not re-upload previously flagged content without resolving the issue
  • Meet all takedown and revision deadlines
  • Work with your Account Manager, who will notify you of any violations and help guide next steps
If you have questions about a strike or believe one was issued in error, please reach out to your Account Manager. We’re here to help you stay compliant while running successful campaigns.
