Accounts that repeatedly violate these policies may be subject to enforcement action, including temporary suspension. If an advertiser accumulates , their account may be from serving ads. Strikes may be issued either for uploading non-compliant content or for not taking timely action after a violation has been flagged.
An initial strike is typically issued when a creative violates our advertising policies.
For examples:
- Profanity, sexually explicit or other restricted content
- Missing required disclaimers
A strike may be issued again if:
- You fail to pause non-compliant ads after being notified, regardless of whether the ad is actively serving impressions
- You miss the deadline to take down or revise flagged creatives
- our advertiser policies to ensure compliance
- any ad flagged for violations as soon as you're notified
- previously flagged content without resolving the issue
- Work with your , who will notify you of any violations and help guide next steps
